The Alaska State Chamber of Commerce introduced Alaska Business Week, a unique summer program for Alaska high school students.

Students live on campus during the weeklong program and experience a simulated "corporate" environment where students will compete with their peers in running a company. At the end of the week, companies present their business strategies to a panel of judges and market their new product or service developed over the program.

Program Date: August 8 - 14, 2010
Location: University of Alaska Fairbanks campus
Capacity: Limited to 100 Alaska high school students
Application deadline: July 31, 2010
Tuition: $325 included room, board, program materials and activities - Scholarships are available

Note: A limited number of round-trip plane tickets from Era Alaska serviced communities, as well as round-trip tickets on the Alaska Railroad from Anchorage are available. To qualify, register to attend and complete the application form.
