Opening an account for your business, organization or association is easy.

You may open a business account by visiting any branch location.
Required documentation
There are different documentation requirements based on the type of business you have:
Sole proprietorship
- Business license
- Appropriate identification for all signers. All persons named as authorized signers must sign in person or provide verification by completing and signing a Member Identification form.
Partnership
- Business license
- Partnership agreement
- Appropriate identification for all signers. All persons named as authorized signers must sign in person or provide verification by completing and signing a Member Identification form.
Corporation
- Business License
- Corporate resolution
- Articles of incorporation
- Appropriate identification for all signers. All persons named as authorized signers must sign in person or provide verification by completing and signing a Member Identification form.
Non-profit organization/association
- Charter/bylaws
- Appropriate identification for all signers. All persons named as authorized signers must sign in person or provide verification by completing and signing a Member Identification form.
- Board meeting minutes approving the creation of an account at Alaska USA, and specifying the authorized signers for the account.
LLC
- Business license
- Articles of organization
- Operating agreement (if available)
- Appropriate identification for all signers. All persons named as authorized signers must sign in person or provide verification by completing and signing a Member Identification form.
* In Washington state, business accounts are limited to sole proprietorships.
