What is Business Bill Pay?

Bill Pay is a monthly subscription service offered through UltraBranch® and UltraBranch Business Edition for members with Alaska USA business accounts. It's a convenient and powerful tool that lets you pay your bills electronically.

What can I do with Business Bill Pay?

Pay anyone, anytime, anywhere in the U.S. right from your own computer.

Set up automatic payments, such as rent or insurance payments.

Use the e-Bills feature to receive your bills electronically, get payment reminders, and expedite your payments.

Choose the date you want your bill to be paid. If you are paying an electronic bill it usually takes just one business day. Other payments need to be scheduled at least four business days in advance.

Does it cost anything to use Business Bill Pay?

Yes. There is a monthly fee of $5.95, but this is for unlimited payments.

Why should I use Business Bill Pay?

It's easy! Bill Pay is easy to set up and use, and also includes a Payment Assistant that walks you through the process step by step.

It saves you money. You don't have to pay for postage and you also write (and order) fewer paper checks. Plus it's easier to avoid late fees when you schedule your bills in advance or set up automatic payments.

It keeps you organized. You can review and pay your bills anytime from any Internet connection - while at your business, at home, or while traveling.

Is it secure?

Yes. Alaska USA is committed to protecting the privacy of your financial information. Business Bill Pay not only offers password safeguards, but also encryption, SSL (secure socket layer) technology and automatic sign out if your session is inactive for 10 minutes.

Can any user on my account pay my bills?

For companies using UltraBranch Business Edition, bills must be approved by an Administrator or Primary Contact before they are paid.

When will my payment be processed?

When you schedule a payment, you select a pay date. Money will be withdrawn from your account on this date and the bill will be paid.

How far in advance should I schedule payments?

Most bills can be paid electronically the same or next business day. However, if the payment is sent by check, it can take four days for it to be received. When you enter an amount for payment, Bill Pay automatically displays the earliest date a company or person can receive the payment.

What if there are problems with my payment?

You will be notified within Bill Pay and by e-mail if a payment has failed to go through.

How do I sign up through UltraBranch Business Edition?

After you log in to your UltraBranch Business Edition account, select the “Payments and Transfers” tab, click the “Bill Pay” link and follow the instruction to enroll.

Can I use Business Bill Pay if I am not enrolled in UltraBranch Business Edition?

If you have a business account and are enrolled in UltraBranch, after you log in to UltraBranch, select the “Bill Pay” tab and follow the instructions to enroll. If you want to sign up for UltraBranch Business Edition, it's easy. Just visit a branch to get set up.
