Personal Computer Loan guideline
- 1. Maximum amount
- On approved credit, 90% of the purchase price.
- If the item is used, up to 80% of the lesser of: (a) the purchase price or (b) the value as determined by an acceptable appraisal.
- 2. Maximum term:
- 48 months when purchase price exceeds $5,000.
- 36 months when purchase price exceeds $3,000 - $4,999.
- 24 months on all others.
- 3. Purchase types
- Hardware and software purchased in conjunction with the main unit.
- 4. Restrictions
- Computer equipment purchased within 60 days of the loan date. Computers more than
one year old will not normally be financed; however, they will be considered for qualified
applicants. Computer equipment intended for business purposes must be financed under the
Miscellaneous loan guideline.
This guideline is approved by the Board of Directors and is effective April 24, 1996.
