Pickup & Camper Combination Vehicle Loan guideline
- 1. Maximum amount
- New - On approved credit, 70% of the lesser of (a) purchase price or (b) manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP)
- Used - On approved credit, 70% of the lesser of (a) purchase price or (b) retail value as
reflected in the current edition of the NADA Recreational Vehicle and Used Car Guides.
- Higher percentage of financing may be available for qualified applicants.
- 2. Vehicle types:
- Pickup/fifth wheels, pickup/slide-in camper combinations, and pickup/hard shell travel trailers.
- 3. Vehicle model year restrictions:
- RV units older than seven model years will not normally be financed.
The age of the collateral plus term of the loan will not normally exceed 13 years.
Exceptions to this will be considered for qualified applicants. Additional
restrictions may apply if unit will be used for other than exclusively personal
recreational purposes.
- 4. New vehicle definition:
- "New" is defined as the untitled current model year and the next year's model units and prior year units until April 1st of the following year. When one unit of the
combination is being replaced, the amount that will be financed on the remaining unit
must be consistent with the loan values noted above.
This guideline is approved by the Board of Directors and is effective December 30, 2009.
